for after almost two years of activating this blog, already ( only ) 50 posts are being posted !

To celebrate that, this 50th post will be dedicated to the blog itself.

I was having lunch with one of my dearest friends, Nurul, and we were discussing about how we are always wanting stuff in life. We feel like life starts after we own something or more commonly achieve something.

I mean, since we were little girls, we would always have dreams of becoming a career woman, falling in love with prince charming, getting married in an extravagant dress, having beautiful kids and so on...

The thing is that, at every point in our lives, we tend to tell ourselves that we will only be happy if...!
And true to that statement, we work very very hard to achieve what we wanted.
However, for all you know, right after getting it, we will then yearn for something else,
and will only be happy  then.

and so the cycle goes on and on, and naudzubillah we will never be happy until the day we die.

So Nurul and I decided that it was time, that we appreciate what we have and be thankful.
Not just by saying thank you, but by enjoying life as it is.
Making the best of every moment we have, may it be good or bad.

It is somehow funny that good times pass so fast but bad times linger around us longer.
However it is even funnier to me that I feel closer to myself and those around me during the bad times rather than the good.

For only ALLAH Knows what's best for us.
and nothing is funny bout the paragraph above as we often refer trials and tribulations as bad events but little do we know that those are our real teachers in life.
So any good or bad events is not for us to judge. Cruise thru it with the best you've got.

I realized that writing in the blog has enabled me to freeze some moments in my life for me to see and appreciate every single thing in my life, cause sometimes life moves so fast that you don't get to grasp its beauty or the wisdom it holds.

Every second is about learning something and every second is about celebrating!
Celebrating the Neverending Love of The Creator!

So, let's celebrate by thanking Him, not only with words but also by actions.
that is to use all that we have, all that we are,
 in worshiping Him.

Whatever you do, turn them into forms of Ibadah or worship by having pure intentions according to The Quran and Sunnah.
and most importantly, enjoy doing it!
Appreciate every family member, every friend, every moment!

This blog will continue to be used to freeze some moments,
that I will surely remember ever so slightly due to my fast fast-paced life.

May they remind me of the fond memories that I have,
only to remind me to be thankful.
and grateful.

Ever So Powerful,
The Most Magnificent!

Happy 25th, Walid !

Bismillah Walhamdulillah!

After the exams, I was so spirited to celebrate, and cook, and have some company!
And Aiman's birthday came at the right time!~

I was so excited  but I was in a dilemma on whether to celebrate it over a simple family dinner, or to invite some friends along.

So I decided on the latter because I know how Aiman treasures and loves his friends. So if it's going to be his birthday then it has gotta be his style.

And his style was of course having a futsal match with close friends.
Alhamdulillah I managed to ask some of his friends to help out as it was supposed to be a surprise party..

So the day came, and I told Aiman that I will be bringing Mashary over to the HKs for dinner and some party, He said okay but he looked really sad as he muffled,

"Eh, looks like it's your birthday today, you're the one going our partying, while I stay home",

I could only just reply, " uhm, we'll be home early :) "

Farah and Lina came to fetch me and off we went to the HKs to cook and prepare all the food from there.
Alhamdulillah Mashary felt sleepy and slept most of the time I was cooking.
Then the cake arrived  and after maghrib we departed to The Stadium as as fast as we could.

On the way there we met some of Aiman's friends carrying the mee goreng we ordered with some drinks.
Phew was I glad they were willing to help, not to mention farah carrying the 'tikar' all the way to the stadium!

Then as we arrived, my friends helped to set up the place (some helped to take care of Mashary as he was awaken from his much needed nap, huhu)
 and we were ready!!

The Birthday Boy really had no idea that we were there!!
He was really surprised but of course managed to control the expressions!!

Alhamdulillah we had a great time, together as a family and also with friends that we treasure so much.
Without them none of this would've happened.

And being Aiman,
His friends really play a huge part in his life,
He literally can't live without them,
They mean a whole lot to him,
and that means they mean a whole lot to Mashary and I too.
Thanks for always being there for him!

And to the Birthday Boy (Walid)
It's your 1st birthday as a father and I think life has just begun!
We are grateful that we are the ones Chosen by ALLAH to celebrate this day with you,
and we hope to celebrate it in the coming years as a happy family.
I only wish the best for you,
I only wish you'll find your way to your True Love,
and I wish that we will be able to provide you with enough strength, happiness, and love throughout your journey.

May ALLAH Bless your kindness,
May ALLAH Replace your sins with His Mercy,
May ALLAH make you happy in this world, and the hereafter.

Show me your Teeth !

And so to the excitement of Mashary's teething event,
I came up with a spontaneous song that turned into a cheer!
(cause you can't call it a song if it isn't melodious, can you? hihi)

MashaALLAH TabarakALLAH !

Here goes,

(Ummi's Version)

Gigi Dua Batang,
Anak Ummi Seorang,
Lompat atas Padang,
Suka Makan Pisang!!!

then I went to do some studying for awhile when I heard,

Mishmish Dua Batang,
Gigi Ummi Seorang,

(Walid's Version)

So much for entertaining your little baby while watching a football game..

Mashary's 1st Day at Genius Land

Alhamdulillah, we have selected a Nursery for our baby who turned 7 month old today.

It was just a few blocks from home so we really hope that we will be able to maintain sending Mashary to his  daycare centre for the rest of the year!

It wasn't as emotional as expected for his Ummi, as Mashary was behaving very well and looked very excited the moment we entered the nursery watching the older kids doing their morning exercise accompanied by energizing music!

Ummi felt calm during classes, praying that ALLAH would Take Care of Mashary.

We went to fetch him earlier as Ummi was of course very anxious...!!
Alhamdulillah Mashary was alll fine till he saw his Ummi!!!

He started crying and 'kissing' (biting..) Ummi once carried..

I've missed you too, my baby. You were so so brave!! I am so proud of you!

Alhamdulillah his 1st day went well, looking forward to many happy, cheerful stories in this daycare in the coming days..

For I believe that the power of a prayer is greater than all my worries.
Ya Rabb!

Older Kids jumping and dancing !

Mashary's new Dada

that expression on Ummi's face you gotta remember !

where am I??
