Bismillahirrahmaanirraheem.

Alhamdulillah
for after almost two years of activating this blog, already ( only ) 50 posts are being posted !

To celebrate that, this 50th post will be dedicated to the blog itself.

I was having lunch with one of my dearest friends, Nurul, and we were discussing about how we are always wanting stuff in life. We feel like life starts after we own something or more commonly achieve something.

I mean, since we were little girls, we would always have dreams of becoming a career woman, falling in love with prince charming, getting married in an extravagant dress, having beautiful kids and so on...

The thing is that, at every point in our lives, we tend to tell ourselves that we will only be happy if...!
And true to that statement, we work very very hard to achieve what we wanted.
However, for all you know, right after getting it, we will then yearn for something else,
and will only be happy  then.

and so the cycle goes on and on, and naudzubillah we will never be happy until the day we die.

So Nurul and I decided that it was time, that we appreciate what we have and be thankful.
Not just by saying thank you, but by enjoying life as it is.
Making the best of every moment we have, may it be good or bad.

It is somehow funny that good times pass so fast but bad times linger around us longer.
However it is even funnier to me that I feel closer to myself and those around me during the bad times rather than the good.

Subhnallah.
For only ALLAH Knows what's best for us.
and nothing is funny bout the paragraph above as we often refer trials and tribulations as bad events but little do we know that those are our real teachers in life.
So any good or bad events is not for us to judge. Cruise thru it with the best you've got.

I realized that writing in the blog has enabled me to freeze some moments in my life for me to see and appreciate every single thing in my life, cause sometimes life moves so fast that you don't get to grasp its beauty or the wisdom it holds.

Every second is about learning something and every second is about celebrating!
Celebrating the Neverending Love of The Creator!

So, let's celebrate by thanking Him, not only with words but also by actions.
that is to use all that we have, all that we are,
 in worshiping Him.

Whatever you do, turn them into forms of Ibadah or worship by having pure intentions according to The Quran and Sunnah.
and most importantly, enjoy doing it!
Appreciate every family member, every friend, every moment!

This blog will continue to be used to freeze some moments,
that I will surely remember ever so slightly due to my fast fast-paced life.

May they remind me of the fond memories that I have,
only to remind me to be thankful.
and grateful.

ALHAMDULILLAHI RABBIL AALAMIN,
Ever So Powerful,
AL MAJEED,
The Most Magnificent!

the warmth of togetherness..

Bismillah Walhamdulillah..

It is currently approaching midnight and I am feeling sleepy but very excited to quickly write this post.

So we have been having honorable guests over at our home and Alhamdulillah they were all definitely the bearer of Rahmaat <3

Muawwidz ( One of  Walid's besties) together with Faten, his ever-so-friendly wife decided to visit the Mansoura Babies, Zidane & Solah...

So when two best friends meet, along with other adjoining talented people, they turned our living room into a very lively studio...

At first Walid's guitar started to regain its sound again..after being deserted for soo long..haha..and then a few new instruments moved in. The Percussion box, an Ukulele, and a Keyboard!!!!
Wow, was I mesmerized !!!

They decided to cover 'Senyum' in conjunction with many heart-breaking (???) events that happened lately throughout the whole world..
the facebook world to be more precise..

Faten and I also had amazing bonding times, we just chatted through days and nights, sharing experiences, exchanging ideas and interests, recipes, and so much more..

Till Faten decided to thank us buy preparing Lunch, MashaALLAH!!!

Please ignore the gigantic kitchen utensils used, but rather focus on the yumminess of the meals..
We had Spaghetti Carbonara (or was it fettucini ) with some Fruit Salad..
Thanks so much dear, you fed us well !!!!

Because the recording took some time to finish,
Faten decided to give me a treat..guess what???

This picture does not do justice to the beauty of the drawing..
*note below
However, we had a good laugh when Zidane woke up and demanded to be fed, then got my henna all smudged everywhere..

I still remember Faten saying, "tak ape, nampaklah macam bukan inai pengantin baru, inai for a new mom..

;)

To our lovely guests (including the band members)
Thanks for coming and giving our cold winter days some heat and spark,
we definitely appreciate your company,
and we appologize for our badhospitality..
:(

Hope to see you again soon!
Insya ALLAH!!

wow, i think this looks kinda cool!!

ill have a try and see if I'll get a part in the song..

No!!! I think I miss my Susu!!!!!!!!!!!!!

* Faten does Moroccan-inspired henna for any occasions. She is currently in Cairo but goes back to Malaysia for holidays.

I dream to..

Bismillahirrahmaanirraheem..

So, I can only start to dream when Mr Tiny Weeny with A Big Heart goes off to dreamland!!
MashaALLAH, coming to the age of 3 months old has given our Zidane so many possibilities, physically, emotionally and also spiritually.

little update on Zidane (since I'm an Ummi..hehe)
Once he's awake, there's no way that he stays silent or plays alone lying on his back..
He always has to get up! and about!
So it's either watching youtube videos or singing weird songs with Ummi ( I now found a new talent, I compose baby songs!! spontaneously!! and the person who 'loves' it more than my baby is his Walid..hahahaha, sorry you have to bear with this..)
or!
he enjoys his acrobatic time with Walid..
Alhamdulillah he enjoys both equally..
so Ummi and Walid can take turns entertaining our new entertainer..hehehe..

and back to my dream !

I dream to have a gathering of only girls!
something like a weekly or a fortnightly get-together..
where we can chit chat and talk about almost anything!!
Islam-based..
say we pick a topic,
BOOKS.
then every girl will have an opportunity to share her favourite book with us and then let us know about how she relates it to Islam as a way of life.

or another topic FASHION
then we discuss on how fashion is relevant in Islam.

I really want the discussion to be a real discussion where everyone has a say
and can voice out their own ideas.
However in the end, there'll be a wrap up by an educated Syariah Advisor so that we won't come up or go home with weird ideass..haha

At the end of the gathering we can have a live performance by some of the talented girls, maybe we could sing, or play an instrument,or read a poem just to chill while savoring some yummy dishes..

My idea is to get together just for a while, say 3 hours max..to get to know each other, and then learn at least a small something about Islam.

We are always too busy with school and school and..schoool..that sometimes we forget to allocate some time to learn more about this Deen.
I plan to learn it not academically based,
but more of how to put Islam into your life,
as a way of life.. :)

HOW WONDERFUL !!!

I have dreamt so long but have not yet found the strength to do it..

My concerns are :-

Will there be anyone interested ??
Who is willing to become the 'talented girls' ??
Who is willing to become our Syariah Advisor ??
Where do we get our Financial source from ??

and finally

Are YOU sharing my dream ??

:)
